Refurbbished Computer seems to be a popular search term.  When we talk about mini notebooks we are talking about the used or refurbbished computer that is small.  After all the smaller the notebook the better.  And refurbbished means less expensive.  We have a page that goes over the refurbishing of laptops and where to buy them and even how to purchase them.

But like we mention in the first part of this page it is a good idea to find out what refurbished means to the company that you are purchasing from.  Refurbrished computers usually means that the computers have been cleaned and repaired with perhaps a minimum of wear and tear on the computer.  Not all companies refurbbish the same way.  For example the ' factory refurbished ' computers are always the very best possible computer to buy.  However you always will pay more for them.

But I think that you should take into consideration what you will be using the laptop computer for.  Is is imperative that the computer be perfect or can if be a bit used.  I would say yes if you will be really abusing the laptop in the environment you will be using it in.  So why pay the extra money for something that you will most likely be replacing on a regular basis anyway.
